Marc Schauer is a graduate of The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University where he graduated with honors and earned a Juris Doctorate degree. While attending law school, Marc worked part-time as a legal intern at the national insurance defense firm of Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith, LLP.
After graduating from law school in May 2014, Marc began his legal career as an associate at Sobo & Sobo where he represented seriously injured clients. While at Sobo, Marc handled, settled, and litigated numerous complex premises liability and motor vehicle actions.
After four years, Marc joined insurance defense firm Wade Clark Mulcahy LLP. During his tenure there, Marc learned how insurance carriers think about and analyze personal injury claims, and the litigation strategies and tactics they use to defend them.
Following a two-year tenure as a defense attorney, Marc realized that his true passion was helping seriously injured people recover the compensation they deserve. In 2020, Marc joined The Dearie Law Firm, P.C. as an associate where he represents clients in construction site, premises liability, and motor vehicle cases.
